Meet Kristen Hamm, Owner & Lead Planner of Simply Kristen
Hi! I’m Kristen, the founder of Simply Kristen, based in Binghamton, NY, where I grew up and still call home. Life here is busy and fulfilling as I raise three active boys who keep me running from one sports season to the next. I’m also a proud mom to our golden retriever, Toby, who loves our family’s adventures-especially since our big goal is to visit every state in the U.S.!

When I’m not planning events or chasing after the kids, you’ll probably find me lost in a good book (I always carry both my Kindle and a physical book for variety), convincing my boyfriend to go on a random hike, or squeezing in a workout. I’m also a nursing student and work in the Emergency Department, where I get to make a difference in another way.

My journey to event planning began unexpectedly while helping a friend with her bridal shower. My boyfriend asked, “Why don’t you do this for a living?” That spark lit a fire-I realized I could help others enjoy their special moments as much as I love planning them. Bringing people’s visions to life and making their memories truly special is what drives me, and I feel incredibly lucky to do this work every day.
